The following snaps are from a show in Greenpoint, a little neighborhood in Brooklyn just north of Williamsburg. Tommy's Tavern has a very small room in the back that makes for a great "intimate" show . Thanks to ToddP for his help in making the show happen. Thanks to Kylie cat for checking all of the cables.

The evening kicked off with a Cory O'Brien, laptop artist from Baltimore, and his project called Myo.
Second up, Chuck Bettis collaborates with Dafna Naphtali in front of early NYC film footage.
Washington DC's The Caution Curves rawk Tommy's with an anxious tension. Is it real, is it theater? Rebecca Mills on laptop.
Tristana Fiscella (aka Tanimal) at mix control. |
Next up...Mikroknytes. Redknyte John Coursey, mans his beloved red synth. Dizzy visuals from Derek project in the background. |
Resonating banjo drone on top of guitar with violin. Knytes like to literally layer instruments. |
Techno lights are fun! |
Face Fashe 4 strike up the band.
The emerald green trench coat channels far more energy than this picture reveals.
When things get going in "Fashe land" there is no where to hide, not even under a chair as one of the members discover.
This great band's work can be found on a kick ass label called Shinkoyo.
